If you're looking for breast augmentation, and really don't want to risk surgery, then maybe Botox could be the answer. Botox already is used to treat involuntary muscle spasms in cerebral palsy, but it is also used to erase facial wrinkles. Now plastic surgeons have started to use it to give some breast augmentation effects. Doctors inject the Botox into the patient's chest muscles between the breasts and the shoulders.
Botox works by weakening the frontal chest muscles, thus enhancing the effect of the stronger back muscles. This gives sagging breast a lift. Patients report that it improves their posture, and makes it more difficult to slouch. It can give a lift of more than 1.5 cms.
However, this is only really effective on women with small breasts, and the effects are definitely short term it usually wears off over a period of around 3 months. So although this is a good non-surgical technique, it's not likely to replace breast augmentation surgery.
